After-Hours Emergencies:

If you think you are in labor, please go directly to the labor and delivery unit at St. John Medical Center. All other emergency calls after hours must be made to our office at (918) 749-1413.  Press [8] to be immediately transferred to the answering service for a physician on call. Call coverage is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our doctors at Utica Women's Specialists share weekend call coverage with Grant Cox, M.D., Paul Gehring, M.D., Gena Gray, M.D., Sarah Shepherd, D.O., and Cate Hildebrand, M.D.(OB/GYN Specialists of Tulsa).

Prescription Refills:

Requests for prescription refills will be processed during normal business hours only. Please call your pharmacy and ask them to fax a refill authorization to our office. You do not need to call our office. Please allow a minimum of 24 hours to process your request.

Appointment Policy:

We see patients by appointment only. In order for us to provide you with the best possible service, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. You must bring your current insurance card and a photo ID to your appointment. If you find that your are unable to keep your appointment, we ask that you inform us at least 24 hours in advance so that we may make that time available for another patient.

Test Results:

HIPAA Privacy rules prevent us from leaving test results on any answering service. We take pride in communicating with our patients. Even if tests results are normal, you will always receive a phone call. We mail a simple notification for Normal Pap smear results.

Forms Completion:

If you need a FMLA, WIC, disability or return to work form, please allow our office a minimum of 48 hours to process your request. Please complete as much information in the form as possible beforehand.  NOTE: There is a fee for processing some forms or for re-processing lost or incorrect forms.

Copying of Medical Records:

We will provide you with a copy of your records after we receive a valid signed request. There is a charge for copying records, which complies with the State of Oklahoma fee schedule. Exact charges can be determined after a request is received in our office. Please allow a minimum of 72 hours to process your request.

Patient Confidentiality:

Confidentiality of your medical records is of the utmost importance to us! Confidentiality laws limit to whom we can release information. A consent form is made available for you to designate with whom we may discuss your medical information. Plese review our Privacy Notice found under the Patient Center Tab.
